A Simple Vision and A Dream....
Father, you made her dreams come true and I am asking the same for me, according to your will.
My Lord, I want to list them because you are a BIG God and I rarely ask for "stuff." I have asked to stay in North Beach and I have asked for an awesome and fun job after I retire from the police department. I've also asked for some of the below things over the years, but I'm getting close to printing this blog book and therefore, I want to list my dreams so that when they come true, I can reflect on this very day and this very post. I'm not only trusting and believing in YOU, BUT I'm trusting and believing that if you say no to these dreams it's because you have something MUCH better in store for me.
Help me to take steps toward these dreams and make the timing yours. Time concerning people, places and things that would make it all come together and ONLY for your Glory. Let all these things that I've asked for ONLY BRING GLORY AND HONOR TO YOUR HOLY NAME. In Jesus' precious name, amen!

I love surprises. I came home to find this gift and penny in my doorway. I couldn't wait to see what it was and who it was from. However, there was no signature. I thought the cop in me could do a handwriting analysis, but I just couldn't figure it out. Whoever it was loves me and knows that pennies are my #thing! I was truly overjoyed and smiling so wide!

In the back of my mind, I'm always concerned about my weight. I'm always thinking about ice cream, but I rarely buy it because I don't want it in the house, tempting me to eat the entire container. And the cost for a small one is truly overpriced.

I remember seeing this photo last year and wishing that I had someone in my life that could relate to this very thing. When I saw it again a few weeks ago, it resonated with my Spirit that JESUS is the Lover of My Soul. That was the theme for my portion of the GBC Ladies' Retreat. I love how He loves me. Unlike anything I've ever experienced before. And I'm certain without a shadow of a doubt that nothing and no one will ever come close to the #love that He and I share! Yes, I've found the One that my soul loves.

Not only did I forget the fact that I got paid this past Friday, I also forgot that I gave my sweet friend money to get me this beautiful blue leather jacket. I'm usually a Wal-mart, Target and Payless kind of girl. Yep, I so am. But when I saw this on her, I just had to have one. She got me a great deal and I so #LOVE her for it! It will not keep me warm this winter, but it's so cute! Lol

This was my very first bible, purchased in 1996. I didn't quite understand it at first. I tried to read it from time to time, but I had "other" things that occupied my attention. YOU get that way when you're living in survival mode, couple with control issues.
In 1997, I because a Muslim. For 10 quiet years. Didn't understand that either....
In 2008, Jesus wooed me into a loving relationship with Him. Upon receiving the gift of salvation, the bible came to life for me. He is the bread of life and the living water. MY LIFE IS #PROOF!

I always get a bit nervous when I have to pray. It's such an honor and I feel so privileged to have to ability to petition to the Father on behalf of others. I went into the prayer room on Saturday morning, just before breakfast and there was a bright copper penny on the floor. I burst into tears. And, then I went into the powder room to get a tissue and there was another one on the floor by the sink. I cried like a baby. "Trust me Denise." That's what God was speaking into my ear with His gentle voice.

On this day, it was rainy, dark and cold. My new sister in Christ, Michelle, found this on the ground when we went out for coffee. We have a space in our hall at church that we know as the "help yourselves to anything on this table" and yesterday, in the midst of my busyness, I noticed these gorgeous flowers. I was rushing and my hands were already full, but I could not stop staring at these beautiful white roses. So I picked a few, took them home and put them in some fresh water and yes, they are in my bathroom so that I can see them several times a day.

Although it was raining, I still went out for coffee. But before I exited my car, I was reminded by the Holy Spirit to text my sweet sister Laurie. Just wanted to remind her of something important. There was a car parked beside me at the coffee shop and after I hit "send" the car beside me had pulled off. As I exited my car, there was a penny where the car was parked. If I hadn't been texting, I would have missed it :-)

Pause: WOW! I'm at picture #70. It's so much fun being of the moment of what makes me happy. The list can go on and on and on, but I'm committed to just 1 picture a day...and trust me when I say that it's not so easy to choose! So, today it's this.............these are so freaking yummy, especially when you keep them in the fridge. God knows that pennies are "my thing!" He's placed them in very significant places for me and me alone. He gifted me with one this past Thursday after I'd sat with a sick friend. I held her hand for 2 hours and went I was headed home, I stopped to get gas and there was a penny on the ground. She passed away the next morning.
And today, there were 8 cars parked in front of my office and as I got out of my car and put my foot on the curb, there was a penny. Just for me! I'm so his little girl and he so delights in me! :-)
